How long have you been a member of SPENGA Roswell?
I've been a member since you opened the studio and was excited to celebrate our 1st year anniversary in September.
Why did you join SPENGA Roswell?
I was seeking a challenging workout that would keep my interest and evolve my fitness.
What do you enjoy most about being a member of SPENGA Roswell?
The fabulous instructors- their energy and support to push myself further.
What is your favorite part of a SPENGA session (Ride/Rep/Revive), and why?
RIDE! It's an invigorating, challenging workout where I find myself singing and "bike dancing".
What is your current occupation?
Cyber Security professional
What do you love most about the work you do?
I love the continuous challenge my job provides. As technology evolves, cyber threats do too, which require innovative security strategies and solutions to protect consumers and organizations.
How do you define success in fitness/wellness (and life)?
Continuous evolution of my fitness level and having balance.
Who inspires you?
I don't have one individual that inspires me. I know many people who have injuries or disabilities that limit their activities, so I'm thankful for the ability I have to continuously participate in a fitness routine, and I don't take that for granted.
If you could choose anyone as a mentor, who would you choose?
I've always sought successful women that I can learn from and also help as mentors. I have no one specific.
What is one thing, either fitness/wellness related or not, that you learned in the last month?
The importance of getting rest/sleep for muscle recovery.
What's something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?
Several years ago I had a dog bakery in Ohio.
What's the last book you read?
How Women Rise.
What's the first concert you ever attended?
Prince.
If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A burata salad and salmon.
