Rachel

Rachel Shepard is SPENGA Roswell's General Manager as well as an instructor. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Kennesaw State University. While pursuing her masters in Occupational Therapy at the University of South Alabama, Rachel began her career in fitness. Rachel has 20 years of experience and over 25 certifications, including AFFA Personal Training, 200-hour YOGA from Lift Yoga, Precision Nutrition, Advanced Core, Pre/Postal Fitness, and Cycle. She loves to learn and grow and believes that life's challenges are our greatest teachers. But her greatest joy comes from being a mother to her six sons, Cameron, Jaden, Chad, Keaton, Davis, and Hayes. At SPENGA, Rachel is known for her genuine personality, encouraging words, and expertise.


When asked, what do you love about WERKING at SPENGA?  Rachel said, "Life is about finding your gift and giving it away. I give my everything when I am at WERK, desiring to support my fitness family through fitness education, motivation, a safe place to be yourself, a place to laugh and or cry at it."


Fess up, RIDE, REP, or REVIVE? Which is your fav?  "I LOVE THEM ALL THE SAME !! Depending on the day, they each fill a spot in my heart.
RIDE gives me an adrenaline rush, endorphins, and the sweat I crave.
REP makes me a badass, stronger in every sense of the word, and confident, and REVIVE gives me clarity and peace, plus makes me feel alive."

 



Rachel instructs the following:

  • Improve alignment, posture, and joint stability through static, flowing, and repetitive Yoga poses. End this session with deep flexibility movements and a relaxing recovery. A great supplement to our signature SPENGA session. 45 minutes.

  • SPENGA
  • SPENGA's signature 1-hour session that combines 20 minutes of heart-pumping Spinning, 20 minutes of circuit-style strength training, and 20 minutes of revitalizing yoga, to deliver the Best. WERKout. Ever!

  • REP
  • 45-minute circuit-style STRENGTH only session. A great supplement to our signature SPENGA session.
